Abby Harris is a New York City-based composer and pianist. She is fifteen years old and in the tenth grade. She studies music composition with Ricardo Zohn-Muldoon. Separately, for the last several years, she has taken American Composers Orchestra composition coursework with Kevin James. This year Abby was named Northeast Regional winner at NFMC for the second year in a row. Abby was also named a 2018 MATA, Jr. composer and a 2019 Luna Composition Lab composer. As a pianist, she has played at Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall, and other venues.

Fred Biddix is a native of San Antonio, Texas, 15 years old. he is home schooled, plays the piano and cello, loves listening to and composing classical music and programming. He took private piano lessons for a few years, and has been taking composition classes for the last 1.5 years.

Lucas Buck,  Sonata No. 2 (Sonatano), Classical, Cello Duet

Lucas Buck is a (now) 17 year old composer and cellist from San Francisco. Lucas is a junior in high school and began writing his first pieces of music in 7th grade.
Lucas hopes to become a film composer one day and hopes to continue persevering to one day meet his goal.

Alexis Cai,  “Sonatina in G ( 1st movement)”, Classical, Piano

Alexis Cai is a 9th grader from Marlborough School, Los Angeles. She is a skilled flutist and pianist, a classical vocalist, and an aspiring young composer. Alexis has been studying classical music since age five, and is currently a student at Colburn Community School of Performing Arts. She is a member of Colburn Youth Orchestra, as well as Ed and Mari Edelman Chamber Music Institute. Alexis has won prizes in many music competitions such as: National Flute Association High School Choir competition,  San Diego Flute Guild Competitions, Lansum International Music Festival Competition, CYSO Concerto Competition, National PTA Reflections Arts Program, and John Child Walker Music Competition.

My name is Jamal Metoyer. I am a football player and a pianist. Just trying to make history. 




Lottie Doughty, “Daydream”,   English Horn and Vibraphone Duet

Lottie Doughty is a sixteen-year-old composer and a classically trained violinist. Although she started violin at age 4, she has been creating and composing music for her whole life. She has performed at various festivals and the White House and is a member of her high school’s chapter of Tri-M Music Honors Society. In addition, Lottie is a professional actor, having performed at venues such as Ford’s Theatre, Signature Theatre, and the Kennedy Center.
