Practice Tip Record Yourself

Returning to Practice Tip 11, Record Yourself, I decided that if I am presenting practice tips, I had better prove that I’m practicing. Practice needn’t always consist of playing a whole song straight through. And this is only the 1st Cadenza, but when you are nearing the completion of a piece, you do need to practice the piece all the way thru over and over. Some people record themselves all thru the practice process, but I only do this when I am nearing the end, and mainly if I hope to perform it.

It is not a great idea to put a piece out there that isn’t quite up to par, but I’m not a profession musician, and want to show that I do practice for fun. Perhaps I will re-record and post again when I am finished with the piece.

Happy Practicing.

After watching videos of myself, this is improvements for the next day. I think two more days of watching my practice will do the trick.
