Piano Lessons for Beginners

Whether you are taking piano lessons or music lessons on another instrument, and whether you are a beginner or starting your music again after a long break, you need to know how to solve problems practicing. For young children, who play, the topic of practicing is not generally discussed properly, they are just told to practice. for older students and adults, it too easily can become a rote chore. In two new books, one for young musicians, Have Fun With Your Music, and one for older, Passion for Practice with Musings From Music Masters, you are encouraged and enlightened for practicing.

For students taking beginning piano lessons, these books are important references whether or not you are lucky enough to have a teacher.

Piano students are told to play thru a piece slowly at first, and that’s hard to do when you are excited about getting a new piece of music. There are so many reasons to practice slowly. If you understand why, you will know how important it is. It will become a fun challenge to get yourself to only practice slowly at first. I, myself, on the flute have always had trouble practicing slowly.

I have produced two artworks that come as an original, as a large print or as a greeting card that are fun to use, and make great gifts for music teachers! If you are taking piano lessons, don’t forget to get your teacher a special gift like these note cards or prints!
